I almost bought this - 国際化ドメイン名.jp

I thought about this but I think in Japan it would be much more valuable to own

日本語ドメイン.jp or 日本語ドメイン名.jp - since it seems to be the fact that it is less important to the Japanese that IDNs allow for arabic, chinese, or korean; much more important that domains allow for Japanese. I suspect this will be treated similarly in Korea or China but cannot confirm.

I think both of the above went in 2003 , I was barely in to domains then let alone these funny squiggly things in front of tlds.

And 国際化ドメイン名.jp does get some adsense, should get reg fee ++ back in the future.
