Someone doesn't like Tencent in China. 腾讯.cn Good news for Chinese .net holders.

I was reading up on chinese news and what's going on and I came upon an article about instant messaging in China and the big companies there. Anyways I came upon "Tencent" and decided to check them out. I found out their name in Chinese and just looked quick at the url. http://腾讯.cn . It goes to another popular instant messenger. They must not like Tencent.

Tencent actually sits on the .net. http://腾讯.net

Strange that Cnnic gives to sets of information for both domains. From the links there is conflicting info.

Not to mention. Am I crazy or does this go to ICQ? http://腾讯.cn That's definately not something that Tencent would do.

My feeling is that CNNIC whois is not updated. Some TM names are still shown the info of a specific company that the name was originally reserved for.

ie, I own a domain xxyan.cn (Chinese), but the CNNIC whois still shows "xxyan co" is the owner (2000-2011). Very strange.
