Hi! I am a graduate student in Engineering, I was introduced to domains world last year (10 month ago) when I found out about namepros.com. I like your forum, and I am curious to learn more about IDNs. I own around 50 "normal" domains, but I like the ideas of IDNs. I am interested in Arabic domains specifically. Hope to see people who have same interests!

My name is Juan, I'm from Argentina, and even though I started registering domains around 1998, I consider myself a newbie. I've gained great interest in IDNs in the last few months, and most of my registrations have been IDNs since then. This forums seems like a very valuable source of information, and I expect to learn from here, receive advice, help in those cases I can, and maybe even do some business.

Hi Everyone

Chaumi here from the UK.

Only got interested in domaining around a year ago, and have learned some hard lessons with a current portfolio of around 800 'English' DNs, though one .de poker name regd new last June gets enough type ins to cover the whole lot!! Talk about lucky!

So I saw Dave Wrixons posts elsewhere last year on IDNs - and didn't understand the opportunity until recently.

Dave, Olney, Edwin et al...thanks for all the info on your posts. Wouldn't have got anywhere near understanding it without that help.

Up to around 90 now (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Russian), all regd new over the last 4 weeks.

If I've got the translations right, I have:

運航.com Flight Japanese
數位的.com Digital Chinese
x级.com x rated Chinese
在线消息.com and .cn Online news Chinese

...and many more similar.

Most taking what looks to be a handful of type ins per week, though guess this could be IDNers searching! спора.com (spore) in Russian is taking well above average, I'm assuming this is gamers but guess there could be other meanings.

Hope I can learn enough here to contribute effectively.
