Welcome to the forum. There are still some good IDNs to be found and registered so don't waste any time. Watch for good sales here and take advantage. You don't want to say "if I had only registered a few IDNs" a year from now!

Do you mean a spammer?

Question....doesn't someone need to "register" to get on the forum or can that be sorted out by a program?.

If so, how about adding turing codes for registration...

A very specific type of spammer - an SEO Bot. An SEO bot has the purpose of dropping backlinks on high-ranked forums in order to attempt to increase the ranking of their / their client's site(s). If you will notice, every one of these BOTS posts a fairly general message (although some are getting contextual), and they leave 1 - 4 backlinks, typically in their signature or post.

The vBulletin forum software is so widely used that there are bots programmed specifically to navigate the registration, respond to the registration email, log in, and post - it all happens in less than a minute, generally much faster. They generally never post more than 1 day, although they might leave more than 1 post - normally they only leave 1 post and never come back under the same account name.

Just change to reg page file name and or mod the reg form a bit and it all looks like greek to a bot. Bots stopped

This is Phio from Malibu, CA

My IDN count is 600+ and rising. Although fairly new to IDN's, I think the potential for an IDN explosion on the market is favorable. I have recently visited se asia, and found that the internet was available and working fine even in some non-tourist areas. I skyped my friends back home from a small island in thailand (flawless) in an internet cafe. I have found that while there is a great wish for many in asia to learn english, many of them would like to use there own language typing skills on the internet. I am currently interested in site developement, creating effective blogs and affiliate programs for my IDN's.
I would be interested in sharing blog material and language exchange in several languages. Anyways, that's enough for now.

welcome to forum, 650 idns is impressive. Most of us here agree with you on the huge potential of IDNs. Look forward to seeing some of your development work, there doesn't seem to be many affiliate programs for IDNs, please share if you find any good ones, especially Thai.

There are a few Thai affiliate programs but they convert horribly. Don't bother.

Yep - the Internet is available even in non-tourist areas in Thailand. You sound surprised, did you imagine Thai people didn't have any need for the Internet themselves?

Which languages are you most interested in?

As a forewarning, watch out for the barrage of PMs offering you word lists for sale. If there were any good domains on those lists, people would have already regged them for themselves.
