Why using Overture?
It's not always reliable:

videohumoristique.com (=funny video) gets 2 views/day

French Overture is showing
1149382 video humoristique


Overture as well as google/trends are not always showing the true trends.

i don't know about the overture but don't people usually search for "funny videos" (plural)?

also ovt doesn't differenatiate between plural and singular. It requires some brain work.

You are right as far as english is concerned; in french it is common to use singular.

even cilpvidéo.com (an IDN) is generating 40 views/day.

we all know that overture does not show plurals nor le , la or de or du.

Concerning ovt, in french (i don't know other langage), i can tell you their stats are wrong in the sector i know especially.

- stats wrong
- words wrong or with error (add s, or delete important 'detail')
- not in the right order
- important expressions are missing

I had compared to websites i have since years.
I had compared to others tools also.

I already say that here, do what you want, but take ovt carrefully on my opinion.

I knew us ovt, and i just checked again and no,
it's not correct for what i 've checked and know especially
(in french, i speak only for french)

of course, it's a good tool, but only a 'suggestion tool' for me.

Google's Overture is NOT for you to reg domains. You will appreciate its correctness if you know how to use it.

A friend reminded me it's not Google's Overture, it should be Yahoo's Overture :-).

Sorry, I haven't used OVT for at least 6 months now, and I'm just sipping my first glass of wine this evening.
