you are right, alfa. and i have no animosity against foreigners investing in Japanese IDNs. you guys are my potential business partners in the future. and i would like to keep good terms with you. it's just that i don't want to actively promote, or help them find good names left unregged, which i believe is just a matter of choice. after all, we are in competition as well as in cooperation.
also, all none japanese domainers should be aware that foreigners owning IDN.jp domains without development capability will have a very high chance of losing ownership disputes. of course, you can argue you would be outsourcing, etc, but i doubt very much if it works. JPRS is clearly against ppl who purchase domains just to flip or park. and there is a good chance that the Japanese arbitration center would judge any foreigners owning undeveloped .jp domains have reged them with a bad (or wrong) faith. you may say it's irrational, but the center has already displayed clear lack of rationality in past cases. so you'd better be aware of this.
