Back to the .jp issue - my best .jp for this month as been チキン.jp (chicken.jp)

Without development of this site beyond a parikng page, this cod be hijacked by someone in mainland Japan - and taken from me?

The main reason I ask is I know of a nice bunch of .jp's that are available if I find the $$$ dollars...but I could lose them in the long run to someone who puts a trademark on them (this comes up from memories of an old thread along similar lines...)
