For me the reason Why I think it's them is

Even though the contact says Digi-Rock
Their own system doesn't let users register domains in any of those extensions other than dot com & net.

I believe they're testing to see the potential of domain parking.

They went & registered 2000 names with good OVT...
Not all the best names either just a good mixture of names.

After looking at it a bit more I'm sure it's a test...

actually my money is on a native Chinese owning these.

have you seen all those blatant TM's

LOL

It's an impressive collection to be sure. They definitely gobbled up whatever they could get. Does anyone know if they are represented on this forum?

It's an impressive collection to be sure. ...

you really think so?

I'm not so sure.

Sure there's probably some nice gems in there, but it is littered with BS symbols and blatant TM's. I lost count how many times i saw domains starting with "Yahoo.."

they also have piss poor portfolio management, I just run a bulk check for fun, and a lot of the names they hold in .net only, is free in .com. sure some of these will be down to character variants - but not all.

I imagine the .com dropped after they regged the .net, but if you are going to sit on a .net and renew it every year, then have the commonsense to check if the .coms have become free. These sorts of things, you can do with a bulk checker in seconds.

i give it a thumbs down

Maybe, but if the Japanese are now registering any old shit they can get their hands on and taking out TMs at thousands of dollars a throw to do reverse hijacking, then I think we can assume that it has started!

Digi Rock has a great IDN collection don't be fooled by that list.
This is why I think it's a test.

Register a wide variety of IDNs that would not be included in your normal portfolio.
Make a site to get them indexed.
Park them at Sedo

The variety they have there include

1. Various extensions other than dot jp (tk, ws, tv, net, & com)
2. 1 to 3 keyword terms
3. symbols (sort of) none regular characters
4. Mixture of kanji & roman characters

When I was getting dot com drops Digi Rock beat me at a few premium terms in the beginning, none of those domains are on that site.

Remember a long time ago I suggested members get their domains indexed?
That site serves that purpose. It's to get all of those domains indexed by search engines.

I can't say 100% if it Digi Rock but it looks like it could be them.
They have domains way better than those...

It's a structured test I believe.
Most of us here beat them to the development & testing though to see what works...

Could be that they are trying to create some noise or even test the TM system.

Thank you for discussion. This is my site.
I knew that my site was linked to here by access-analysis.
I acquired these domain in digirock.

I make a part of these domains one's site, and a part sells it.
For example, as one's site, there is -
http://ドメイン.tv/
http://犬の本屋さん.net/

In sedo, setting of "sale" is not possible about idn.

All domains -
"owner-email" or "admin-email" of Whois is my e-mail address.

In addition,".jp" has 700 domain. I have 2700 domain (all Japanese IDN Domains) in total.

Though it is the Japanese who is poor at English, we are looking forward to hearing from you.

Say guys sorry this site doesn't belong to Digi Rock but it's BowWow's also it's the first I've seen to use the value-domain system to register extensions not visably available...

I put it out there that it was a test but it's his portfolio & I apologize for that.

bowwow,
