What do you guys think of this

Well developed IDN site
カードローン比較.jp (http://xn--lck0c6eya6bc3656h02sc.jp)

It's for Card Loan Comparison rates

It's a pretty new, even though it's not my site my coworker started testing & building this after I've been sharing my stats with my company for a while.

Right now he's ranking #6 on Yahoo for Card Loans.

It's not mine even though we are sharing stats, & I'm helping with it, but it's my coworkers. Anything I could do they should be able to analyze all my stats & do 500% better. Not to mention use the data for their clients. Since we work at an online marketing company the stats are what's needed the most.

Congratulations Olney!

I see you will be retiring soon on this site!

Sorry he's ranking that for the term Card Loan...

Might be less confusing if you put the actual search terms in Unicode when quoting performance? Thanks.

Looks nice. Why do you continue to put the subdirectories and filenames in ascii, though? Is it because of the bookmarking after the link is visited, or what?

After I saw what he "potentially" made after the Yahoo update, if he continues for even a month at that rate he owes me the top iPod at the end of the month.
I just don't want my coworkers to start making too much money on their own & quitting.
I want them to make a lot of extra money, I just don't want them to quit.

I didn't advise him on everything so right now the file names not being in Japanese is Ok. He's ranking well for his dream keyword... & in just 2 months... The main thing is to see if he can keep the position.

I haven't found a host yet that can accomodate subdirectories that are non-ascii. Does anyone know of one (outside of japan of course).

Yes of course. And the good news is that Google and Yahoo now correctly display them. PM for details.

They've been displaying them for years, at least the nonEnglish ones SEs.

So how do you use non-ascii characters for subdirectories?

Olney

I use to use htaccess files & use mod rewrite

Google messed up with them, but only when used with IDN domains. This has recently been fixed.
