I've been poking around the .biz whois lately and indeed much of the truly great real estate has been gobbled up. The distribution is broader than just we IDNFers but our names come up a lot. You know who you are.

I'm impressed to see the Snows registered so much and I see a lot of Digirock out there as well.

I think you have been doing a lot more than poking around. something more along the lines of consuming, vacuuming, absorbing, devouring... something along those lines. Impressive collection of .biz's rhys and the cool thing is I know you will develop alot of them.

I'm not so sure it was Digi Rock, I'm thinking most were registered yesterday & it looks like the dot biz whois takes time to update.
Also Value Domain let's users register dot biz in Japanese so it's people using Value Domain not Digi Rock themselves... (I think)

World War VII will arrive before idn.biz domains are valuable. I actually hope I am wrong, but unlikely :)

I've gotten traffic and clicks on a couple of mine already... Nothing Earth-shattering, but it's there...

Do you think we(the world/earth) could make it to World War VII?:o

valuable as in reg fee, development possibilities, or re-sale for major $. I agree I don't think you will see very many .bizs make the big board at dnjournal for major $s, but I like a couple of mine to hopefully get developed into major sites maybe 3 to 4 years down the road. I am not looking to flip mine, I will probably drop a few, especially the two that I mis-fired on, but those that came late and want a few prime keywords the pickings are slim in the resale market and crap extensions are a cheap option. so I dropped 50 to 100 bucks and rolled the dice was more controlled than with the .ws and had a little fun. I think I can get my $100 back, a few clicks a month off one or two of them might get me there

Actually guys you got a bit of a chance reselling your dot Biz (jp)
Value Domain offers dot biz as IDN as an option by default,
So when you search jp, com, net, & biz comes as an option to buy..

ws, cc, tv, & others don't on Japanese domain registries.

So in my book, biz now becomes the fourth option after jp com & net.

I have heard about discussions about .biz at the Eachnic (Chinese) domain forum...anyone care to elaborate about
what they think feel is future of Chinese .biz.

Also, biz (ascii) is very popular in Turkey as it translates to "we". Check out bottom of article at...

that makes sense, there were several names I checked where the .ws was still available, the rest of the extenstions were gone including .biz. for example
美.ws is available while the .biz was picked up at launch

Not as much as you think tee1. If you wanted to see gluttony, you should have seen me last year on .jp/.com. Nights I wouldn't sleep because I was too busy at the keyboard hoovering. The .biz landgrab has been pretty controlled for me. I'm really just hedging my bets only slightly. But it is an excellent opportunity to grab some great terms that I longed to own for potential future development at good prices and missed regging on the main extensions.

Those days are really bad. I had to exercise 1hr a day and 1 cup of celery/carrot juice to destress those days. And after 10 mths of intensive regging, it took me 3 months of exercise regime (2 hrs every day) along with 8-9hrs a day sleep to recover.

Anyone older than 28 years old, and have not done that, you might have suffered permanent damage by now.

For honchos like Rick or Frank, they don't have to do this, just take out $300,000, they can buy over portfolios while maintaining their lifespan.

If you sleep 4 hrs at night and 1 hr at noon or afternoon, it's fine. I heard in Taiwan, there's company sleeping session at noon time. I've seen ppl doing that in China as well.

You can also just drink a lot of rum. That worked for seafaring Pirates for over a century after extended periods of pillaging.

How about this?

ABC reported on its Web site that Tobias, 65, said Thursday that he had used Deborah Jeane Palfrey's escort service "to have gals come over to the condo to give me a massage." He told the network that there was no sex involved.

You got the formula touchring... carrot juice mixed with rum combined with an excercise workout with a professional trainer!
That'll fix what ails ya from "regin' syndrome"

I wouldn't go mad on the Carrot Juice. Mainly RAF propaganda to try to keep Radar a secret from the Nazis.

Yes, you can remember that for your next trip to the US...

And you can also sniff out an assortment of "Aroma Therapy" parlors.
