Hi Every Believer (on the IDN Church)

Just last week , in order to test IDN Names visibility via Google, we created a simple site: www.maghrébine.com.

After one week, Google placed it at page 3 already.
Just test it with google and type maghrébine.
For 'not believer': IDN domains are already earning a lot of money via Parking

Other Subject: Overture is not always reliable; we have names with overture = 100K; and they ave no parking revenues at all. Every culture is different. Annuity.com has been recently sold for USD 0,6 mio.; annuite.com in french is not even USD 500 worth. This is much more complicated for arabic domains.

So concentrate on cultures you know; french IDN'S becomes already a booming market and I wonder why IDN Forums is not opening a specific area for this language.

In conclusion: laws for english domains doe not apply for other cultures.

Yes, Google turned it on last year. You are absolutely right.

Tomorrow I'll add the European IDN Market.
It wasn't left out intentionally.
I understand that members portfolios are really diverse now.

Do you mean French speakers do not type-in?

I have 2 french domains that get some type-in.

électromén... 44 15 34.09% €0.06 €0.85
Cheminées 17 9 52.94% €0.04 €0.39

"So concentrate on cultures you know"

Could not agree more. I have estatísticas.com (PT and BR for stats) one the most important keywords on the net IMHO.

I wanted to register it in Chinese. The problems is what to register:

What is usually found in stats from websites is:

統計數字

However the last character seems like a "figure" redundant, so maybe,

統計數

But 數 seems also redundant, so,

統計

Will this be it? who knows, it can very well be the very different or not so diferent:

统计

ANY HELP? Thanks.

You helped me for the Greek tv.net, this is my turn now :-) It's called An Eye For An Eye.

Stats when translated into Chinese is a totally different thing. It's call "the amount of the flow of traffic" or "stats of the flow of traffic".

1. 流量 : the amount of the flow of traffic.

Sorry and co-incidently, 流量.com is mine. Like the case of Greek tv.com, 流量.net is available. The difference is, I know what I'm talking about :-)

2. 流量统计 : stats of the flow of traffic.

流量统计.com is taken, 流量统计.net is available.

Thanks a lot Giant, but do you know that old chinese saying:

Don't give me the fish, teach me how to fish!

I mean, do you speak Chinese? All the translation tools suck big time and makes one waste time registering trash. If you don't [speak chinese] how did you found that out?

Best Regards,
Jose

P.S: Great coincidence.

No, you better give me the fish, I am so busy regging domain names. I want to be a millionair more than a fishman, at least for now :-)

Yes, I speak Chinese "extremely" fluently :-)
