"think" - you mean you can't even be arsed to find out what you are own and trying to sell?

When I search for it at google, i get an amazing 176 results. Are you sure it means anything in any language? Funnily enough, most of the search results are served from sedo. Why does so much rubbish get sent from Sedo these days?

Welcome to the forum.

Thailand in Portuguese would be "Tailândia" or more commonly "Tailandia".

"Thaìland" is meaningless. Checking translations for your domains is very simple and spares you "those embarrassing moments."

There's probably a very good reason he didn't say he had checked the translation, you work it out :)

Seller was already asked what it was
http://www.namepros.com/idn-domains-for-sale/327629-thailand-com.html

Expect ìs.net to make an appearance as well
http://www.namepros.com/idn-domains-for-sale/327630-is-net.html

I doubt there is intention to commit fraud, more like an attempt to jump on the bandwagon and make money from worthless junk by someone who is completely ignorant of even the basics of IDNs

Ummm not sure, his intentions don't look great. He quotes the sale of movìes.com for $5K when clearly that was sold on the basis of something it wasn't, presuming it was really sold at all that is ....

I'm just a bit sick of all these "generic names with grave accents added randomly" showing up, and claiming to be real words with real value. It was bad enough at Sedo, but I don't want them all showing up here as well.

The good thing is because we are a critical bunch (in a good sense), nobody will get away with selling such rubbish here, unlike Sedo, where it seems like a fool is born every second.

Well if he/she leaves them up for sale now knowing they are useless then they will indeed be attempting to commit fraud ... a criminal offence I believe?

or perhaps altered the sale description to be "means nothing in any language, but could possibly be resold later to an idiot at Sedo for big money" - at least that would be honest :)

I see that somewhat differently, but now good, if you the opinion are… You do not have to buy the Domains also, but I do not regard her as worthless junk. Ok, perhaps I erred, who am it a Portuguese domain, but therefore am I it worthless not as worthless junk! A cheat am I already not!
Bye...

Fortunately (or unfortunately if you're the owner) both thaíland.com and thaíland.net are registered. And with only 417 Google results!

Amazing.

Hi,
It does wrong to me, if I erred. SORRY! And the Domain “ìs.net” is simply only a two digit Domain, more non without meaning! Thanks, but more advertisement do not need I!
