The (very handy) ownership review feature at ND appears to be broken.

Anyone got a contact there they can get to to have it fasttracked for repair?

I reported it a couple days ago, but I have not gotten a response yet. The workaround is to manually paste in the punycode.

Ah. Well spotted Bruce.

Thanks.

Well, pasting in the punycode might not be the best idea. Some of my domains have passed the ownership review, but they don't seem to be flagged as IDN, so they're still showing up as punycode in the portfolio listing. I've sent another message to see if they can fix this.

Any news on this yet from the support email? Review still appears to be broken.

I still have not received a response to any of my support emails. I suggest that everyone who has this problem should also send them a note, if you haven't already.

As Drewbert originally asked, does anyone have a good contact at ND who can make it a priority to fix this problem?

I just sent them a mail to report this. I don't know anybody who works there.

I got a response back from Neil, who claims that it is working properly. I mailed him again to demonstrate that it's not working properly with IDNs. Let's see how it goes.

Thanks, Mulligan.

I tried an IDN yesterday and it seems to be working fine - that is when I used the punycode for the ownership review.

OK, but it is extremely inconvenient when you are inputting a list of 200 names, and various ones are rejected - they are already converted to Unicode, so you need to copy and paste them one by one into a punycode translator and then back into the ownership review form.

btw, does anyone knows of a mass WHOIS or DNS check tool?

Sometimes i just forget to point names and lose traffic.

After a few mails with the support staff, it is working now!
