I see some fairly high bids at Overture JP and KR for certain terms.

Where can I park names where I'll get a cut of soem of those bids?

Or do I have to build some portals pages and join up with them?

I think the way to go now is to build portal pages. For cities, you can pilfer the content from wikipedia which will be enough to get AdSense targeted to same-language ads.

Otherwise:

- Hotelclub.net has hotel landing pages in almost every major language.

sample: 東京ホテル.com

- linkshare.jp is an affiliate aggregator and sister site of linkshare.com. You'll probably need someone who reads Japanese to help you sign up.

Thanks. I'll look at building some portal pages.

Do you have to sign up for overture jp and kr seperately, or are thye bundled with overture us?

I go back to linkshare the day they apologise.

They've got a bad rep in the affiliate community. Lots of people won't touch them anymore.

Yes, I've had the same experience with linkshare.com. The affiliate industry needs some sort of oversight.

I suspect that one overture account is enough. AdSense works like that at least; I had ads targeted in Korean for a while. Mysteriously it's stopped, but I think that's because of my mixed content.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure whether these guys are popular enough to get high bids on terms.

Hey thanks for that. I've been looking for a Korean PPC provider for a while!

Unfortunately, despite the stats that thefabfive produced for .com Hangul IDN, I get very little traffic to them.

Right now, you don't, but wait until ie7 hits the streets. :^)

If you try that PPC site, please let me know how it goes.

Such unproved local market new comers are not recommended and I prefer the proven affiliate program parking players..

I believe that namedrive.com, enom.com, domainsponsor.com, trafficz.com and sedo.com will support for both domain title and advertising with the native Unicode characters.

It won’t take a long... compared past…because they know IDN and IE7 are just near…
