I just received the announcement from dynadot that pre-ordering has started for korean IDN.biz domains.

My question, besides if any of you will be investing in this, is whether there will be any value in koreanidn.biz domains.

Personally I probably pass on this.

Looking forward to opinions.

No, I would not pre-reg.

I won't be buying any Korean.biz either.

Korean, however, is big and dot biz appears to be viable, so I am sure a few people will.

I will for some of the keywords I want - the ones which others have either refused to sell in .com or .net or .kr OR where the selling price has been not viable for me for commercial reasons.

Exactly to replace a couple of .ws or .tv ones - and have a nice keyword set.

See it as the last chance to get cheap Korean IDNs for 2 or 3 years - but I will only invest to use... like the other .biz language IDNs, I think it will be awhile before people really want to generally trade .biz and that for the next couple of years they will still hunt ccTLD, .net and .com for awhile to come.

Haha - wonder who gets cellphone.biz in Korean :)
