The article regarding Michael Mann's entry at:

Things are clearly about to get a whole lot more competitive. The days when the market was dominated by the whims of Old King Cole are gone forever!

There will be more and more jumping in exposing domain names, be it ascii or idn ,to a much wider market. Perhaps even the likes of Sothebys will realise the potential.

New investors unfamiliar with the biz will be drawn in and dns of colours and creeds will be moving mainstream. $$$$$$$$$$

I also see portfolios possibly being the investment of choice as opposed to individual names. IDNPortfolios.com perhaps :)

This guy will not have announced until he needed to. He is probably just about set to go.

I would predict that NameMedia will be the next ones into Live Auctions. They will lack Gravitas without it.

It maybe that by taking Live Auctions to Wall Street, Rick risks being hoisted by his own petard. Those guys are born market market makers. Somebody is bound to have spotted an opportunity!
