Hi all,

I just sold a domain to a member here, but we have got a pbm with paypal.
The buyer could only send me the amount on the 15th on the next month because of a security problem with its card on Paypal.

So what ?
We had to wait ?

No! That's the tip:

He created an account on Dynadot, and he prepaid the amount of the domain name I sold to him.
Then, he sent to me the username and password.
Then I changed the password and pushed him the domain name I sold to him to his normal account.
With the credit in this new account, I can renew some by simply push from account to account, or buy another names.
It's not really cash, but to renew, or buy others no pbm.

Fast, easy, zero cost: a great tip, no?

people here have been using this same technique for ages.

This method sometimes backfires when the original person who paid into the domain account turns around the charge or has some other problem with their credit card reversing the charges.

Then, you can loose the domains you had bought with the credit.

This has happened here before.

It always helps to have a good relationship with your registrar to solve things and get around special situations.
