Quote from DNJournal:
Singlebörse.de (IDN) (typo of "singles exchange" in German) also slipped into the top half of the
chart after selling for €11,000 ($15,569), also at Sedo.
Nice to see IDNs making regular appearances at DNJ lately.

Not sure, that was a "quote" from DNJournal text about 3/4 way down the page.

That's a heck of a lot to pay for a typo :o
Even more astounding that it's an IDN to boot!

I dont think it is a typo, would be nice to get a confirmation from a native or someone that is fluent in German. I don't have much to show for my 4 years of high school German, in my defense that was several years ago.

Try to go soft on Ron. He is doing his best.
Americans generally just struggle with the idea that other people actually have distinct languages and cultures.
It seems a bit like Anglicised German, but it sure as hell won't be a typo. If it were the genuine German domain complete with Umblatts would be well into 6 figures!

It's not a typo of anything, it's a correct compound term.
You could write "singles börse", but it's not as commonly used as "single börse".
