View Full Version : How do you avoid Trademark Infringement in non-native languages?

What resource do you use to do trademark discovery for languages that you don't speak? I can find that stuff for the US, but I've no clue about how to do that for Hindi, Simplified Chinese, Korean etc..

Sticking to single word generic terms is the best solution. If it is in the dictionary then it is fine.

For Japanese, you can search here:

Run the results through Google translator or Babelfish. The Japanese site also offers an english language interface, but then it won't return results for Japanese character search terms. Go figure.
