Following information indicates China Economy is on course to Surpass US in Purchasing Parity basis within 10 years.

Currency reforms will mean that the gap in dollar terms will also close more quickly than previously expected. In addition to about 10% internal Economic Growth you can factor in probably another 10% per annum on GDP figures to take account of an appreciating currency.

I can believe this. We all hear great things about growth in China. Meanwhile, our children are learning French as a second language and we think of China as producing cheap clothes.

I've just returned from Hong Kong and I can tell you that the vibe is incredible. China will indeed overtake the US eventually in my opinion. China is going mad, I always thought that Hong Kong would be the jewel in China's crown post-1997. In fact, so many people from Hong Kong are emigrating to China.

I am seriously thinking now about learning Mandarin and emigrating one day.
