Naturally its not the most common way of writing "real estate" in Chinese. That would be worth $30,000 not the $30 the domains were bought for.

It is however "a" way of writing "real estate" that Chinese people would understand.

Accordingly though it might not appear in seach engines much, if used by a realty business in China people would understand them to be realtors.

So ZenMarketing I think your comments in this thread are misplaced and unprofessional. You do not know what the buyer knows about Chinese, what their purposes are for the domains or indeed how IDNs will pan out - so its inappropriate to slate this as a "bad purchase".

I had also pm'd the buyer to get a second opinion from native speaker on these yesterday. They may be good for all I know, I just reminded him to check all terms using "quotes" around the full term. These just didn't check out very strong.

Scotty, 房产地 is not Realestate, although Google search shows 47,000 for "房产地". The exact number is actually much lower than 47,000 if the search engine counts the comma between the characters.

房产地 is not a term or a word, it is a phrase meaning "housing property" and "land" (房产 and 地).

Agree with Giant above. Also chinese counts results for the whole sentence, so a phrase such as "房产地图" - 房产 (property) 地图 (map) would show up in these results. Also the rest are typos. It does not mean real estate.
