I've been seeing the below Whois info quite often. Is this an actual registration or has the name been reserved???

Looking at your example... which is hard to truly understand (as it has been altered).

My guess is... that generally this means, that the true owner has decided to stay anonymous - namely, either taken out Privacy protection or are using a service that results in one company appearing to be the registered domain holder (rather than the whois information for the true registered domain holder showing).

Basically means it is very hard, to actually know who really owns that given domain.
