Russian transaltion help

Are these the correct Russian spellings for "German" and "Kasparov"? I'd appreciate it if you can tell me the difference between немецком and немец (adjective/person/language) and if they can stand alone.

Coincidentally, I got it by searching "немецком", but yandex suggested "немецкие" instead..

Even tho it has high hits, it's obviously an adjective by the way it's used.

What I don't understand is how to interpret the yandex results. The column headers are "words" and "hits per month".

Are these "hits per month" determined by a person typing in the exact phrase in the "words" column....If so, does than mean that "немецкие" exactly was searched 285061 times?

I think it shows how many times the word has been used alone AND in phrase.

The form might be incorrect for alone - because it was taken from phrase.

That is how I can explain it with my poor English :D
