Greetings. Can someone please verify this translation? メディアプレーヤー Is it indeed "Media Player"?

I am pretty sure that is a Microsoft Trademark. Those guys will WIPO you in a heartbeat.

So the translation is correct? I went to Microsoft's website and found a list of their trademarks. It doesn't specifically list "Media Player". See what you think. Thanks for the input!

If MS doesn't list it, you are probably OK. A native will have to confirm.

I was sued my MS in the 90s for something that was not a TM, but I chose not to fight. It wasn't a great domain anyway. I just gave it up. It wasn't worth the fight.

I still have the 'book' they sent to me... The cover letter is precious.

That is why I am a little gun shy on those.

It was a large package. A book. Haven't thought about that in years....

The cover letter told me to meet them in Geneva with my lawyer. WIPO.
