I do not do any minisite development except for my own sites, but I am doing some full-blown site development here and there. I'm currently working on a large and complex multi-lingual multimedia website project for another member.

Count me in Bram, been building sites professionally for years. Pretty much every kind of site under the sun from static minisites to the fanciest enterprise web apps.
Not taking any new projects at the moment, but I say count me in because this is a seasonal business, and when the e-commerce sites cool down there's always a slower time in January when we have some breathing room.
The real issue for me and all the others who are both developers and domainers is that any project done for someone else must be compelling enough to justify the opportunity cost of not developing our own domains! That rarely happens.

I know what you mean , not just in development but also other aspects of the game.

It's hard for me to make a decision to build for someone else while thinking about domains still parked at namedrive. And I realize that if I had focused more on building my own sites in the past I might be closer to my goals.
None of us are in this because we enjoy working for other people - probably not a good employee in the lot.

Yes for people with allround development skills that might be a limiting factor, I personally lack GUI-insight, proper GFX-skills and time really, so it is important for me (and others I presume) to have a list of people who can do the work for them.
Do you have a website I can link to or perhaps a specific email address ?
About the languages, do you guys have a focus in terms of language ?

It's important to realize that any complex site will need someone who is skilled in systems architecture as well as systems integration to be the "backbone" of the project. Architects/integrators do not typically do well with content, graphics, or user interface work. For this reason, it's important to use a platform which provides for a clear separation of content and logic as well as being "themable". There are any number of platforms / frameworks which support these goals, but there is no one size fits all - every project is unique and one must select the platform or framework which fits closest, then do custom programming, etc to fill in the gaps.
I only do the systems architecture and integration work; I do not fill in content or write themes/css/graphics, etc. And I only take these jobs if the project is interesting and pays well enough. Tightwads don't bother asking!
