There were more than 225 million unique visitors (age 15+) in the European Internet community in September, an audience that grew 5% year-over-year and was the largest in history, according to a new study from comScore.

Which company saw the most growth? Russia, surging 23% to 14.6 million visitors during the period. Spain was next with 18% growth and 14.5 million unique visitors, followed by Ireland at 16% and 1.5 million, respectively......

The volume of the Russian internet advertising market in 2007, according to specialists, might come to $300 mln., which is about 1.5-fold higher than a year ago. Next year the expenses for internet advertising are expected to be higher than for radio advertising and might catch up with expenses for advertising in newspapers. Context advertising having outstripped media advertising last year continue expanding at the expense of the representatives of the small and medium business. But according to some specialists, context advertising has already reached its peak so its share is to go down in the future because of new types of online-advertising....

Avoid checking your traffic on a day to day basis - it can be very emotion. Check once a week or once a month! :o

Russian traffic is always a nice high point. Nice to check it daily. :)
