9:30 to 10:15 a.m.: Dot-Coms vs. Other TLDs: A Battle Royal?
In an age when new top-level domains are assigned seemingly every month, how is the value of dot-coms and other TLD mainstays affected? A panel conversation with leaders including Sedo chief strategy officer Matt Bentley, DomainSponsor director of industry relations Jothan Frakes and ICANN IDN program director Tina Dam will compare the benefits of the mighty dot-com versus its dot-net, dot-org and dot-info cousins and explore which younger upstarts have staying power.

Other familiar names include:

Ron Jackson (Keynote Speech)
Matt Bentley, Sedo
Mont Cahn, Moniker
Phil Corwin
Jothan Frakes

Plus many other notaries.

Dave, this is awesome news!

I hope she validates IDN.com and doesn't shun investor confidence with a bias toward a new IDN.IDN extension.

I wish you the best of luck with your names.

Well she is pretty much going to have to express an opinion one way or another.

45 Minutes is a long time to sit on the fence with such a clear cut proposition.

No, she will not. Those are policy decisions and she's has stated many times that her group doesn't dictate policy.

This will be another round of "testing in progress - more to come later."

It's probably going to be a repeat of everything that was said at the Los Angeles ICANN meeting.

I somehow doubt it. It is difficult to come out with the same answer when you are being asked a completely different question. Mind you she has been hanging around here a lot, so anything is possible!
