Domain privacy doesn't stop them from finding the owner.

How does that information get out then?

Why is this name contentious?

How many people do you know that introduce themselves as International Terrorists?

How does that information get out then?

1. DHS discovers existence of a domain which they like, owner hidden via whois privacy.
2. DHS sends a National Security Letter or delivers it in person to the registrar.
3. Registrar gives the owner's details to DHS and is prohibited from notifying the owner that his details were disclosed or from talking about it to anyone.

It's really that simple. No court order required.

Because the idiots at DHS don't follow this form of logic.

Guessing that with all the "international" surfing of websites and various "terms" in every conceivable language
not to mention emailing our e-mail contacts and friends in Russia, China, Saudi, Egypt, Vietnam, Jordan etc bells
must be going off for most of our IP addresses. :o

That's kinda what I was thinking. I peeked at the ND test site and it was mostly anti-terroristic info. You'd keep it, wouldn't you?
