The recent success of gourmet cuisine website GreatFood.com has allowed the company to expand its business to cater for even more customers.
The company has announced that it will be increasing its level of services by moving into the field of gifts and speciality items.
It is reported that the move will form part of a partnership between GreatFood.com and 1800Flowers.com that will see the two companies able to ship each other's products nationally.
The partnership has been welcomed by 1800Flowers.com's chief executive, Jim McCann, who sees the growth as an opportunity for both companies to share in the success of GreatFood.com.
"We pride ourselves on providing our customers the highest quality products and with
Greatfood.com we can offer gourmet treasures like truffle oil and porcini mushrooms," he said.
The company was established with the aim of sourcing and providing some of the rarest and most
sought after food products available and has now grown to a level where they can distribute
