Please appraise ноутбука.com = laptop.com (sort of)

1,220,000 GG results, small GG trends, good average search results on Adwords.

The correct term for laptop is ноутбук however and it has ads whereas ноутбука doesn't have any. What does the "a" in the end mean ?

This is drop I think.

ноутбука can't stand alone

You can use it f.e. as

два ноутбука - 2 notebooks

у меня нету ноутбука - I don't have notebook

Thanks a lot Ajiotaj. I've found that noun+a is the genitive (http://www.alphadictionary.com/rusgrammar/case.html).

You are right. I simply didn't know how to tell this.
