ناس.com = people.com in arabic, according to various online dictionnaries. Do you like it, which use ? I see a professional who's who a social website on it.

الناس is much better, IMO.
Arabic nouns don't stand very often without the article.

Interesting, and true here. But I noticed it depends, at least for the trends and keywords search. Now for direct navigation an arabic native speaker would maybe think of "al" + keyword like you said. And it may be more brandable. Can someone confirm this ?
