Hey guys,

I need your sincere advice on your evaluation of my arabic IDN portflio here

http://www.xn--mgb5a8an.com/
and here
http://www.xn--mgb5a8an.com/idnsforsale.htm

around 178 names there

I am in middle of serious negotiations with some parties

I feel a desire to sell and cash the whole lot

if you were in my place how minimum price would you accept for them all ?

feel free to put whatever price you see because the offers are really far below any of your expectations .....

Please I am not leaving and my blog will stay .... I am just thinking of cashing all my top names ..... and that may not happen.... also I am not depressed :)

there is a profit anyway considering I hand registered them all.

I need sincere input from all arabic natives and other members as well.

thanks
Gee

G,
My thoughts on this are that you either don't believe aliasing will come or you really need the cash now.

If you don't really need the cash now, then this is a gamble worth taking imo. If aliasing doesn't come, then you are out a few thousand dollars. If aliasing comes then you are in a few million dollars, probably more.

If you really need the cash now, then you have already turned down offers for ~5k for your el-ahly.com domain, why not just contact the person who made the offer and sell it? It's only one domain...

Don't lose faith, brother.

G is talking about flipping the whole portfolio.
What does 5k have to do with it?

Just my opinion that now is the wrong time to flip this type of prime portfolio unless you are in dire need of cash. One reason is that it's difficult to valuate, and the other is like G said - the offers are really low.

He asked for opinions, so I gave me. I hope it helps. Good night.

I wasn't questioning your right to an opinion, I was trying to understand the connection between a 5k domain and a multi-million dollar portfolio.

Anyway, Good Night to you, Sir.

i say do not sell G. the only reason i would sell if i were in your shoes is if the offer is what i am expecting to garner in the long run but im guessing is not.

btw how is com.com worth way more than movies.com?

I would say don't sell. You have some great names in your portfolio.

Looking at the potential value of the domain if aliasing goes ahead, the current price you would probably get for your portfolio, and the small loss if aliasing does not go ahead. I would say that the gamble is too good not to take.

Then again if you are desperate for short term cash.. There may not be much choice.

Yes, don't sell.

With some of the top names you got, if an oil Sheik suddenly decides to buy domains, you will get your million dollar paycheck.

The chances of this happening next 3-5 years is high.

Well, there is no measure regarding the chances, as ICANN is as tight-lipped as they come, but our hopes of this happening certainly are high. The hopes are especially high from my end, as I've got a lot of good Arabic domains.
