I just received an e-mail from NameDrive...

> It is with regret that we announce the end of our direct agreement with
> your current Yahoo parking provider, effective immediately.

So - where to now? Any other good PPC providers for IDNs? I would guess any of the others that use Yahoo may also be discontinued.

And if IDNs are getting close to taking off, why would they be discontinued by Yahoo?

Just spoken to Ed.

false alarm. this only affects you if you were signed up as an external yahoo partner.

In Ed's own words: This change in no way affects 'normal' NameDrive customers such as yourself and the vast majority of IDNers as we will continue to monetize our own traffic as we have done since 2005.

Idnowner: i have forwarded Ed's email to you.

Yes, but ND's payouts have recently been heading south and coupled with the tumbling US dollar, I'm probably not alone in having moved my entire portfolio to Sedo. Have ND any plans to redress this?

I'm not sure, but I think Yahoo intends to syndicate Google ad-feeds, but only in North America. Yahoo just doesn't have the capacity to go it alone internationally where they are weak compared to Google in most countries, so this might be why.

A Perfect Opportunity

to start the IDN Parking.
I bet that the idnf crowd controls over 100,000 top idns, which is more than enough to make a good buck. Or euro.

I'lll donate ParkIDNs.com to whoever is considering doing it.
