eCheck doesn't mean anything in English.

Those obsolete bits of paper that were once passed around as promissory notes where referred to as Cheques. However, I understand that you can still come across them in some of the more far flung former colonial outposts, where they are noted for their inability to spell. Having said that you would be advised not to take anything other than assayed bullion.

Does not mean much in Chinese.

I have come across e- and i- usages in Japanese though. However, e- usually appears as "イー-", such as イーバンク (ebank), イーメール (email) etc.

BTW, if you want to own "イー.jp", please let me know. You can expect high difficulties to acquire either イー.com or イー.net.
