Unfortunately, they just don't get it. This is about trust. Most folks will just listen out for the Yankie accent and close the conversation down right there.
How come guys on Wall Street just carry on as though nothing has happened? How often have you heard analyst's being quoted from Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Citibank and all the rest of them. Do they really think we are still interested in what they think? As for the IMF, they never saw this thing coming, do we really need their advice on how to climb out of a hole they have just found out about?
