Sweet. That’s all I can say about this build. Alot of performance improvement and some refresh UI design as well. Unlike the previous build (5299,5335), this build (5358 offer better stability and alot of bugfixes.
To my knowledge this build is not meant for public, its an internal build. You can download and install the previous Public Beta Preview (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx) version (build 5335) from Microsoft site.
For those of you who manage to get the installer on hand (don’t ask me where to get it) LOL, and you dont have a genuine windows installed (For your information, WGA Authentication is needed in order to get the installer working), there’s a way to beat it.
First unpack the IE7 installer win Winrar. (IE7B2_x86-enu.exe)
Second, browse to the /update folder and overwrite iecustom.dll with the patched one. (Google iecustom.dll, you’ll get what I mean)
Then proceed with install by clicking update.exe, not iesetup.exe (Reboot, done)
BUT WAIT HANDSOME, WHERES THE TAB BAR?! IT’S GONE!!!
Hell naww.. all you gotta do is run xmllitesetup.exe from the setup folder. Once its installed, reboot ur box and bam! Up and working. Haha.
To cut the fuss, spent some pocket for a legit windows copy. Got it?
