I don't know if this has been posted here before but I don't remember seeing it.

Check out their top banner. As far as I can tell they seem to be renting Japanese IDN's. An interesting idea.

Nice to see native speakers spreading the word!

Shame the names they're selling are so bad! Doesn't really help much...

I noticed this approach seems quiet common in Korea as well... there are a lot of .kr, .com, .biz, .org and even .info domains serving up content of exisiting sites on IDNs owned by two particular companies.

I have not investigated what they charge yet though (guess they are renting the IDNs out) - anyone know?

They're selling their IDN. See the links on the right-hand side of the site for the different name categories. I haven't checked every name on every page, but a quick glance suggests they're extremely optimistic in their pricing for some very average names!
