I am sure they "have value" but I think you had so many good names up for offer buyers were able to be selective and take names that had more commercial applications than just simple words/phrases etc.

The amount of great domains was pretty vast, hence less interest for these.

If you analyse them you'll find most of them are 'verbs', 'adjectives' or even 'adverbs' iand 'conjunctions' instead of 'nouns'. Usually only 'nouns' have higher value and application IMO.
