At its meeting on 7 April 2009 the ccNSO Council initiated the IDN country code Policy Development Process [PDF, 45K] (IDN ccPDP). The purpose of the IDN ccPDP is to develop and recommend to the ICANN Board a policy for the selection and delegation of IDN ccTLDs and identify, and if any recommend such, changes needed to Article IX and annexes in connection with such policy. The IDN ccPDP Issue Report, including the PDP timeline is available here (http://www.ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/final-issues-report-idn-ccpdp-02apr09.pdf) [PDF, 109K].

22 Submission Board report - Board Report ccNSO Council - June 2011

Tell me about FAST TRACK!

April 2009 - June 2009 -> 3 Months -> Topic Paper
June 2009 - October 2009 -> 5 Months -> Interim Paper
October 2009 - February 2010 -> 5 Months -> Final Paper

1 year to write a paper! And this is Group 1, as there will be another group which will only be formed on October 2009 (!) and will start the never-ending paper story again for another year!

Come on, they must be mocking our face.
Do they need to extend it to justify keeping their jobs?

This is not the Fast Track and this is why the Fast Track is needed.

These is basically the likes of Verisign using a lot of leverage over CNNIC, RUNIC and Co.

Nothing to worry about.
