Have you seen this?

According to this announcement, the registration (after the sunrise period) for “regular” folks will take a form of a Dutch auction, where the initial price will be 1 million rubles, which is around $31K.

If this is the case and top tier names will be regged in the first seconds, then $31K will probably a “floor” price for them. Their resell value in the secondary market a few weeks/months later might be several times that.

It's true and was on official documentation as well.

They said it will start @ 31k for a few days, then go to 3k for a few days, then $300.00 etc etc.

Since the real top tier names are reserved...it will be interesting to see at what point people will start buying...

I think that no doubt we will see several 31k sales on day1...all depends how deep will the govt digg on the reservation lists.

"The initial value of domains will be 1,000,000 rubles. Money received during the initial registration will be sent to charity. "

I'd like to get on the charity recipient list.
