I would appreciate comments & appraisals on the below name.

台所.net
Punycode: xn—kpry64a.net
http://idn.bz/rate.php?keyword=台所&language=ja

I would appreciate if any Native Japanese speakers could confirm if this is correct, thanks!

台所 is the normal Japanese word for kitchen. But it seems as though merchendisers and companies selling kitchen equipment or facilities often prefer to use "kitchen" in katakana
(キッチン).

A typical Japanese 台所, at least until recently, is very small and not very nice. Meanwhile キッチン carries a luxurious connotation, as people imagine a spacious Western kitchen. On the other hand, older people will often only understand 台所 (they often complain about the use of katakana foreign words they can't understand).

So 台所 is the Japanese word, but キッチン sounds very classy and new. There are plenty of advertisers for your term, though.
