Did you contact him or did he contact you?

Reporting low-priced sales doesn't help the market, btw. There have been far higher valued arabic deals, but they details have been kept private on the insistence of the buyers - such a shame.

Knew he was low-balling. Good thing I deleted his e-mails.

delete without replying? lol

After playing cat and mouse with some people, you just don't care anymore.

With some, they just don't want you to refuse their $50 offer. Just realized I couldn't verify it's the same guy cause the e-mail was deleted, lol. But still... grrr!

every sale helps. what hurts the market is posting only big tick sales or not posting at all. the majority of sales are done at more modest prices.

more than $300 a piece is very good for a bulk sale and probably basel has more interesting arabic names in his portfolio so it was a good cash in.

btw, congrats basel.

If you weren't a broker in the deal, then you are simply projecting your personal opinion onto the voices of two people whose minds you do not know. How can you speak for the seller?

This isn't a bulk sale. This is a sale of a small group of names. I'd consider bulk to be at least 50 or 100 names.

I think (my opinion) it is not a bad sale.

The term bulk sale offends me because most new buyers expect to buy gem stones as if they were buying aggregates.

Nothing personal, but bulk sales are really for fourth rate domains and generally even some of those are questionable. That is not what most of the active members here are into.

These are fourth rate names and are not premium....
