I know we are not supposed to post adult IDN websites. But I wonder if you can add a section specifically for that so people who are offended havce choice not to enter.

It will help alot as there will now be a place to talk about adult things like idn translations for adult/slang/etc, IDN adult websites, market for adult idn, censorship, etc. thanks

When was that rule added?

When was that rule added?

Exactly. Actually I think the rule, if there is one, is that every new member needs to post a picture of their girlfriend wearing skimpy clothes. Female idners can send photo's of their guy by PM to Drewbert.

Is that why he kept pming me and wishing me a Merry Christmas with this photo and telling me "Santa has a present for me."

So what's your site? You can't leave us hanging like that. We're big boys and girls here.

I just assumed

But as long as its ok to do it in the general forum, then I have np. :)

btw, to answer ur other question. I don't run any adult websites. However, my job as a consultant (SEO) means I register IDNs to up the traffic for clients (both adult and non adult). So far, I only involved with chinese idns. But I now think other language r important too.

Where did you get the picture of Alpha from?

As long as you put the translation in the Title. Anyone that reads Japanese for (flaming homosexual sex) in the title will know whether they want to enter the thread or not.

And as for Alpha and Drew, who knows, they may snatch that name right up. Especially if it's that one.

That's a good idea. ;)

I assumed it was you that took the photo.

I'm just an in-store Santa, not a bleeding magician.

I'm not sure what happened to you but here is my take on it.

I believe the whole concept is not to go off on a tangent with weird creepy posts.

It's one thing to discuss something. It's another to be outright graphically perverse about it. As one thread in particular went way to far and it's now in the trash. As it should be. And the pic was taken off a major "mainstream" Condé Nast website not some porn site.

agreed. the thread went from funny/interesting -> wrong/perverse

..As one thread in particular went way to far and it's now in the trash. As it should be...

in case you are wondering, the trash is used for items like this because it is a) not indexable by spiders b) not visible to non-members c) urls/images are disabled

if inappropriate threads are just deleted from the main forum, then people get confused as to why

whereas the trash is a holding area, whereafter a few days it will get taken out and get soft-deleted

lets try and keep the balance on the side of erotic and not dodgy. Frequent abusers will be shown the door.

I couldn't agree more. And thanks for the explanation and clarification Alpha.
