I've just discovered Baidu Search Toolbar for Firefox (http://bar.baidu.com/sobar/firefox/promotion.html), a little gem allowing for faster Baidu searches of various kinds. Normal baidu searchs, images searchs, map searchs etc.
To use, double click Chinese word to select, an attractive popup opens with search dialogue populated by selection. Click to search. Alternatively make selection and use right click menu.
Beware there is an apparent spam toolbar called 'BaiduToolbar', which ranks number 1 for the keyword 'baidu toolbar'. This doesn't appear to be related to the actualy Baidu Search Toolbar in anyway. Don't install that one!
