Domain name investors, having exhausted most of the possibilities in the U.S. are now heading overseas to stake their claims to as-yet unused domain categories. And language is not a barrier. With the Internet a truly global tool, not only are domain names in Japanese characters (i.e. [Japanese].com) now available to register, but according to a recent statement by Chuck Gomes at Verisign, soon owners of foreign .com names will be able to unlock an extension instead of dot com that is in a corresponding foreign script, such as www.[Japanese]dot[Japanese].

Hey Gary I was going to ask you as I just now realized the subscription for the forums in the control panel. Did I miss that thread or does there need to be one to highlight the benefits of the subscription. BTW, I'm paying it now. Thanks for all the work you guys.

Cheers

This is a press release issued by IDNTools . See: PRNewswire as the source...

They put that quote in to make it seem that there are still opportunities and to gain subscriptions :P

Would newbies gonna subscribe if they know they aren't going to get shirts.com in Japanese? :)

There are opportunities in the drop and aftermarket. And there's nothing wrong with promoting it. :)

Damn it Bill you always do that. :p

Is the press for IDN related to a sale? Or is the press for IDN and IDNTools related in this BIGGER news? Are we talking a few days, weeks, or months until we know? Inquiring minds want to know.
