When I interviewed Aaron Krawitz and Gary Males of IDNTools.com (http://www.idntools.com/) for our monthly newsletter (http://www.dnjournal.com/newsletters/2009/october-november.htm) a couple of months ago, I was impressed by the professionalism and initiative demonstrated by these two young entrepreneurs. They showed it again this week when they made a big splash for their company and IDN domains in general by unveiling an electronic billboard ad in the heart of New York City's Times Square.

I think this freebie will bring in more results than the billboard ad itself. But, you couldn't have one without the other :)

Nice.

I think the ad is worthless as is...

IDNTools should have information about IDNs on the main page. Have another link to the tools page that domainers. Domainers will bookmark it anyway. We are trying to attract investors.. not have people wondering what the heck is unicode/punycode.

@sarcle, @yanni -Thanks guys. And I agree with the above.

@IDNCowboy - I agree that the IDNTools home page will not in and of itself educate potential IDN investors. And a lot more educating needs to be done -- we are working on another initiative on this important front.
