Acronym IDNs

I discovered a couple of acronym idns where the acronym is in a non latin script:-

Beijing University: full form http://北京大学.cn/ acronym form http://北大.cn/
Hong Kong University: full form http://香港大學.hk/ acronym form http://港大.hk/

Anyone know of any other acronym idns in non latin scripts?

Bit of a strange thing to be looking for? The world is full of acronyms ..... but why in particular would you want to find an IDN site that is an acronym? Just curious :)

Latin script acronyms are common place. I do not, though, come across non latin script acronyms very often. Yesterday, a chinese student told me that 北大 is a very well known and commonly used acronym for Beijing University. So I then thought: "I wonder if they have an idn with this acronym?". I tried it and they do ☺ http://北大.cn/ I am fairly sure that there must be many more non latin script acronym idns

Well, กทม is the abbreviation for Bangkok, and กทม.com is a domain, though its just parked at the moment. Acronyms are very common in Thailand as Thais love to shorten words to a "minimal form", one syllable if they can get away with it. For instance "download" is "load", upload is "up", website is "web", and computer is "comp". Its really to make "loan words" part of the Thai language, which is essentially composed of single-syllable words.

Anyway, waffle over - Thai has plenty of acronyms .....

パソ is short for PC as in computer
マス means mass and is short for something naughty.
