I just checked the Whois and it is registered to "VeriSign Japan K.K."

Looks like Verisign to me.

They have the .jp since 2001...whoever is dining with Chuck should tell them they need to renew in the next 12 days ;)

Funnily enough ther does seem to more activity on Japanese and some very big clicks. I had one come in a tad under 13 Bucks.
