I am not sure , link.net opened registrations at dot.egypt (IDN)

their website for new registrations is
http://xn--mgbbb9a1b0d2b.xn--wgbh1c/
بالعربي.مصر
or
http://www.bil3araby.net/

they are not interested in domain names but selling services to customers, registering names , webdevelopment , dsl ..........etc

Yes they do bro, but still in private period, not opened to public yet.

Correct me if I am wrong, LINKdotNET is a company of InTouch Communications which is a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom. While Mobinil is a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom, too!!
what's going on?
Am I right?? if so, I can't understand :(

And by the way, the deal doesn't include the whole company!!
$130 M. for only Internet Services branch, LINKdotNET's branch working in development, ArabFinance, Arabo and other branches/companies owned by LINKdotNET remains as is!!!! Too, all company's operations outside Egypt are as is!!
Amazing deal IMO, especially while LINKdotNET services isn't the best in Egypt, I've been suffering with them for a while myself :D

Mobinil now is in the hand of france telecom mostly, orascom telecom do own shares but not in control like before, but they are still partners in mobinil

I think mobinil only bought a part of mother company link.net not the whole company like linkdev.com ...etc

There are only two private companies providing internet solutions in egypt link.net and tedata.net

both are not good efficient service providers, one of the main reason is because the huge number of customers and at the same time a lot problems not like other countries.

I changed my usb modem three times from vodafone to mobinil then finally to itsalat , but I think when itsalat reaches 10 million user the support services will drop markedly and a lot of problems will also arise

I hope they do a fourth license for mobile services, the more company the better service and cheaper prices.
