And JPRS was the only party that has submitted such an application before deadline. Now we know who'll be the .日本 registry.

Is there a page etc. that shows they are submitting to ICANN officially ?

Attending IANA / ICANN meetings mentioned, is not the same thing as a submission.

the 1 applicant is nice to read about.

I don't think they can submit to ICANN prior to deciding who will manage the TLD.
